About Me
My name is Karen Wurzer or, as the kids call me, Mrs. Wurzer. I’ve loved teaching for 27 years and am now passionate about helping kids thrive during the pandemic and beyond. As a Title VI Reading/Math Tutor, I received the Outstanding Service Award in the Fargo Public Schools District in 2018-2019 and am certified for math and reading programs. I especially love building confidence reading, phonics, fluency, and comprehension. Most importantly, I care about your children and your family. I know my passion, knowledge, and patience can help your child thrive. I can help facilitate Distance Learning for your child. I have taught a variety of elementary curriculums and I am familiar with content standards within the educational process and curriculum which will help your child reach their educational goals.

My Services
I provide tutoring services, both online and in-person, to children grades K-6 math, reading, social studies, and science. I tailor lesson plans specifically to your child’s needs based on the type of learner they are.
Individual Tutoring: $40/hour
Group Tutoring: $50/hour for two students, $60/hour for three students
All others determined on case-by-case basis
